The You Ji line is Cubic Machinery's answer for
large horizontal turning.  The top of the line YouJi YH-50 is able handle a maximum swing of 32” and up to 119” between centers.  For those needing powerful torque, the YH-36 deliver 1,418 lb-ft of torque at 183 RPM. 

The YouJi line is built for strength and rigidity.  All YouJi horizontal turning centers are all built on boxway construction, rigid spindle and bearing design and C4-class ballscrews .

YH22 and YH28 are available with 25” or 45” distance between centers. All the turning centers in this range are built heavier and beefier than competitors’ similar sized models, resulting in increase in rigidity as much as 20% and reduction in vibration which helps improve part finish and prolong tool life.

YH22 comes standard with 12-station tool turret and larger 10” hydraulic chuck is also available.

Tool Turret coupling used to index the turret, providing accurate tool positioning for high precision cutting. Fully programmable hydraulic tailstock help reduce setup time.

• Power – the You Ji line delivers tremendous power and torque for large turning needs.  The YH-36 combined with a ZF gearbox put out 1418 lb-ft of torque. The YH-50 is able to maintain 1284 lb-ft of torque and output 60HP.  You can take heavier cuts in tougher metals with confidence.

• Rigidity – Large turning operations require a very rigid machine.  All machines in this line are built heavier and stronger than the competition resulting in almost 20% improved rigidity.  Better rigidity that results in longer tool life and better part finish.  

• Versatility – These big swing machines are available in variety of sizes to fit your needs and budget. Many options are available to enhance the YouJi line. An available manual tool presetter automatically enters tooloffset data into the control.  The optional rotating tailstock reduces vibration and the V.D.I turret with the C-axis option allows secondary operations like milling and drilling.
