YH28 is available with 25” or 45” distance between centers. All the turning centers in this range are built heavier and beefier than competitors’ similar sized models, resulting in increase in rigidity as much as 20% and reduction in vibration which helps improve part finish and prolong tool life.

Tool Turret coupling used to index the turret, providing accurate tool positioning for high precision cutting. Fully programmable hydraulic tailstock help reduce setup time.

Spindle

Double roller bearings and ball bearings fitted on the spindle offer large contact surface ensuring highest rigidity for heavy loads and superior surface finish. Spindle bearings are permanently lubricated precision class P4. Turret

The tool turret features high precision curved coupling with powerful hydraulic clamping for heavy cutting. The high turret indexing rate is made possible by a non-stop random indexing system, allowing quick tool change over, high positioning speed and a reduction in non-cutting time.

Machine Base

The one-piece, Meehanite casting base has been proven to have significant advantages for precision turning and has the ability to distribute stress and heat throughout it's entire structure. Unique and special design of chip conveyor, for side or rear exit from the machine, ensures perfect alignment and space saving.
