Innovative B-Axis Tool Station for Angled Drilling, Tapping and Milling

A fully programmable, 360 degree rotating B-Axis tool station allows driven tools to work at any angle. Up to 3 ER16 live tools can be mounted on one side and another 3 ER11 live tools can be mounted on the opposite end.

Integrated Spindle Motor

An integrated spindle reduce vibration resulting in greater accuracy. Also, an integrated spindle has fewer moving parts and therefore more reliable. Due to the integrated design, both the main and subspindle can reliably achieve speeds up to 12,000 RPM.

High Productivity

A high feed rate of 1,181 ipm insure that no time is lost on non-cutting operations. The high positioning accuracy means the Diamond 16CSL will produce a quality part each time.

Variants

The model series is available in both 12mm and 16mm turning diameters.

The Swiss-Type Lathe for Complex Geometry

The Diamond 16CSL is a feature rich Swiss-type lathe parts up to 16mm. With 2 Y-axis tool units, two turning tools can cut a part simultaneously resulting in lower cycle times. An available C-axis and innovative fully programmable B-axis allows for complex part geometry to be finished in one setup.
